After two unsuccessful years at my local community college, I have decided to take the plunge and become a full time art student as of this past spring semester. I did not think it was even a possibility and highly doubted my parents would pay for such a thing, but surprisingly things fell into place a lot easier and quicker than I expected. After applying and interviewing with the school, I received my acceptance letter in June.

October 5 marks my first day as an art student and I can hardly wait to begin. So here is to new beginnings and schools that teach things I care about.
